Skill Evaluation
Many of the music conservatories train people to be very cultured and knowledgeable. Students are allowed to spend three months to prepare for a jury. In the real world of music, however, there is no rehearsal. To be fully prepared, to speak and play extemporaneously, is essential.
In many situations, you will be handed some music and expected to perform it right there. To build up a lucrative career, you need to be able to read and write music as well as you read and write English.
Face the facts:
it doesn’t mean anything to be the best in your own bedroom. As a facilitator, Ann Ruckert will sit down with you and figure out what you need in order to make it to the next plateau. She will teach you what you need to know, and then connect you to the right people to get to where you want to go.
